Konstantin Krimmel aveva già esplorato, nell’album Saga (Alpha549), le emozioni estreme che caratterizzano l’era dei sentimenti intensi del Romanticismo e ora, con la complicità del pianista Ammiel Bushakevitz, si immerge ancora più profondamente in questo universo. «Amo semplicemente raccontare storie. Fin da bambino, adoravo ascoltare vecchie leggende e racconti» dice Krimmel.
I due artisti hanno scelto per questo nuovo progetto di confrontare il repertorio liederistico di Franz Schubert e di Carl Loewe che incarnano le tematiche proprie del Romanticismo: passione, solitudine, nostalgia, la fuga, la morte.
