L’ensemble Près de votre oreille ha concepito il nuovo album Blessed Echoes nel 2018 durante le fasi di lavorazione del primo CD, Come Sorrow, basato sulla tradizione dell’accompagnamento della viola da gamba nella musica vocale elisabettiama. Durante la ricerca su queste opere Robin Pharo si è imbattuto in numerose edizioni con intavolature per liuto per accompagnare la voce. Prima ancora che Come Sorrow fosse registrato, il violista da gamba francese già progettava il grande affresco di canzoni elisabettiane che rappresenta questo nuovo album.
