In occasione dell’incoronazione di re Carlo III sono state riunite in un unico album la musica più celebre delle incoronazioni di Giacomo II nel 1685 e di Giorgio II nel 1727. I capolavori di Purcell e Händel mostrano una straordinaria forza evocativa: il loro “Grand Style” ha lasciato una magnifica impronta sul cerimoniale della corona d’Inghilterra.
