DESCRIZIONE
Kraken Consort è nato nel 2021 dall’immaginazione di tre musicisti, amici e colleghi: il tiorbista Bruno Helstroffer, il soprano Chantal Santon Jeffery e il tenore Robert Getchell, appassionato di musica celtica. I tre artisti condividono un gusto per la musica tradizionale orale e improvvisata e hanno voluto collaborare con strumentisti con un’esperienza approfondita della musica tradizionale: Ronan Pellen (cistro), Brewen Favrau (cornamusa), Sylvain Barou (flauto), David Lombardi (violino) e Laurène Durantel (contrabbasso). Per il loro album di debutto, il Kraken Consort rivisita la tradizione musicale irlandese e scozzese.
