Con il loro primo album Ex-tradizione hanno permesso di far scoprire al pubblico il repertorio barocco scozzese e irlandese attraverso tipi di danze molto popolari (reels e jigs) e alcuni brani notevoli e singolari, come “Highland Battle”, per esempio. L’accoglienza entusiastica dell’album ha motivato l’ensemble The Courios Bards a proseguire nella ricerca e a ideare questo nuovo progetto che esplora ulteriormente il repertorio gaelico settecentesco.
