DESCRIZIONE
Sir Adrian Boult (1889-1983) fu probabilmente il più autorevole interprete britannico della musica di Gustav Holst e di Ralph Vaughan Williams. Instaurò stretti rapporti con entrambi i compositori, in particolare con Vaughan Williams, dirigendo le prime esecuzioni di tre delle sue sinfonie.
