Gli straordinari pianoforti di questa registrazione – un fortepiano Christoph Kern, secondo Conrad Graf (Vienna, 1826) e un gran coda Steinway & Sons (New York, 1875) – dispiegano, grazie al tocco di Olga Pashchenko, sonorità sconosciute e colori a volte inediti.
