Con il loro primo Cd per Harmonia Mundi, Bertrand Cuiller e i musicisti dell’ensemble Le Caravansérail ci tuffano nell’atmosfera onirica di un teatro londinese del Seicento. Musiche di scena, arie, danze e melodie improvvisate che combinano tradizione inglese e innovazioni francesi e italiane, sono gli ingredienti che dipingono i cinque quadri immaginari di questa ricostruzione, illuminati dalla voce della ‘guest star’ d’eccezione, il soprano Rachel Redmond.
Bertrand Cuiller ha studiato con Christophe Rousset e Pierre Hantaï ed è stato vincitore dell’International Harpsichord competition di Bruges. Si è esibito con i più prestigiosi ensemble come le Concert Spirituel, Stradivaria, Le Poème Harmonique e La Rêveuse. Ha già inciso per le etichette Alpha e Mirare.
