Fondata nel 2001 dal tenore Benoît Haller, La Chapelle Rhénane è un ensemble di cantanti solisti e strumentisti che si dedica all’interpretazione delle grandi opere del repertorio vocale europeo. La sua ambizione è rivelare l’emozione, l’umanità e la modernità di queste opere, capaci di sedurre ancora il pubblico contemporaneo. Ne è un esempio l’interpretazione de Le sette ultime parole di Cristo sulla croce di cui cogliamo qui tutta la profondità espressiva.
